So the other day I tweeted this.
Heard on the train "OMG my niece had just got an iPhone 6 she is 9 totes cute" – my heart weeps for humanity #fb

As someone who is involved with scouting I get so frustrated with the idea that kids aged 9 have iPhones to play game where a character jumps out of a tree and rolls down a hill. They should be outside jumping out of trees and rolling down hills.
People will say but its is too risky and I have written about that before https://jabbering.co.uk/scouting/let-our-children-play/
I will openly admit I am no great example to the youth of today, I am overweight and I do spend quite a bit of time on my phone and maybe as we come to the end of 2015 that should be my 2016 goal to look up more and not spend my life looking down and spend more time outside.
